廣州市花都區七星山大皇爺

Those ladies and gentlemen had to walk up to this temple ( more than a hundreds yrs of age) at the hill top for more than an hour. Thanks driver Mr. Zhu, he tried his best to  save  me two third of this effort bcoz of my bulky equipment… His car was not a 4 wheel drive and the road was not as  friendly to his car as we thought at first.

I came across this place because of a job in Guangzhou. I need to photographed some scenery for a hotel project. And it was introduced to me by a local reisdent who ran a farm/ restaurant  nearby.

It was an occasional exploration for both place and equipment. The pano were taken using a lensbaby fisheye on an IR modified Sony NEX 5.

Central, a central business district  since the colonial era in Hong Kong, is used to be the most densely populated area during the business day time.

The “game ” was innitiately of fun to me photography technically. I knew viewers will have their interpretation but I understood speculation of it was not my motive or intention at all.

To be honest, I have no value judgement about this project. Anyway, the value added part of it is that my wife works here and we may occasionally head home together because of it.
