There was a heavy rainstorm in 2009 that caused lots of landslide in the Lantau Island of Hong Kong. This was taken at the roof of my home during which lights were emitted by the welding works that aimed to fix those wound left after one and a half year.

An old village well (not a grave) in Tung Chung with history that I’m not certain but for sure it was built before the establishment of the Hong Kong New airport and thus the new so called satelie town after 1997.

It taught me what it’s all about 淡. whether it’s 淡簿人生, 又或者淡簿功名, 甚至乎愁雲慘淡. 能夠可以與狗狗”BB” 共聚那 an hour image capture的片刻, enjoy 那活在當下的感覺, 真是不枉此生.
salute to BB, u made life peaceful and cheerful
Sorry for google translate unfriendliness, coz it’s Hong Kong 獨有特色

This is a conglomerate / merge of 32 individual images. each with an exposure time of 2 mins…..i.e total capturing time more than an hour
( not to mention the computer stitching time afterward ).
Thanks BB, my beloved dog, his patience and love accompanied me all the way from capturing to post-processing, he’s my body guard:)

Just Another Exercise
This was not a project about trees, heritage, infra-red or whatsoever. This was not subject oriented. It started for fun purpose only, as if I were a student shooting whatever attracting. I like being free; I like large format photography; I like infra-red film; I like to raise doubts; I like to be naive; and I like to refrain myself from seeking for a subject title and even an absolute answer. It’s just about I like but not I intend. Perhaps more, but it is surely a lesson, a self indulgent and self exploratory photography lesson. Only a hypocrite will tell it knows or understands itself. I don’t want to be a hypocrite. So, it’s all about curiosity.
All photos were taken within Hong Kong territory.
